Math 267 Section C1, meeting during 1:10-2:00 PM on MTRF in 203 Beyer Hall.

- 267_practice_final.pdf Review questions from another teacher's 267 class.

The class Sage server is at https://sage.math.iastate.edu:2670/. You can create an account there or just browse the published worksheets. When you create an account, please do *not* use a password that you use elsewhere (there are no guarantees about the safety of the passwords, though they are encrypted and I have tried secure things tightly).

I will be using some or all of the following software packages. You can get Matlab for free from the university and you can get Sage for free on the internet. You can also access Sage without installing anything using the free online interface.

**Matlab**: For instructions to install your free student copy, go to http://www.it.iastate.edu/matlab/student/.**Sage**: Open-source free math software that is aiming to replace several different leading math packages. You can download this from http://www.sagemath.org.**Octave**: Open-source free software that is an alternative to Matlab. The homepage is http://www.octave.org.**Mathematica**: Commercial math software from http://www.wolfram.com. This costs about $150 for a student license, but you can rent it for a semester or a year for cheaper. This software is pretty amazing, but it is also not as widely used in engineering as Matlab. There are several labs on campus with Mathematica installed.
